Brad Johnson - #1 Student Trustee

I’m Brad Johnson, currently in my second year studying Marketing with Event Management. Charity and business management is an area I have a keen interest in. I have been an active member of the Students’ Union since my first year where I have been involved with Raise and Give. I am also a Volunteer Community Fundraiser for ABF – The Soldiers’ Charity which has given me experience with the management, marketing and finance of charities. I have a real passion for the growth and sustainability of both Hertfordshire Students’ Union and its services.
Why I’m standing
I am standing for election because I would like to increase my direct involvement with the Students’ Union. I have enjoyed being an engaged member, but would like to go the next step and make a positive impact on the Union's strategic decision making. I hope to bring a fresh approach to the Trustee Board and firmly believe I am the best candidate to take on such a role.

Why vote for me
I am a great communicator with vast experience in business and charities, which include the work I complete through my course, fundraising for Hertfordshire County with The Soldiers’ Charity and my knowledge of the entertainments industry prior to attending university. I am an approachable and personable student who takes a methodical look at business decisions. I appreciate the diversity of our student population here at UH and feel that I can provide you with an honest reflection of our Students’ Union.
