Hi, I’m Shannen, currently your Vice President Communications and Media, and hoping to be elected for my second year! I graduated last year in Business Administration with a specialism in Human Resource Management. I got involved with student media, presenting my own show on Crush Radio, and now in my elected position I am responsible for all media outlets; UniVerse, BlueMoon, UnionTV, Crush Radio and Crush Underground. I have an excellent understanding of Hertfordshire Students' Union policies and in the past year have made key links with staff within the university. When I'm not working, I love to travel and enjoyed my study abroad year in California which was an amazing opportunity.

 

Why I’m standing 

I have had a fantastic first year as your Vice President Communications and Media and would love to continue for a second term. I have learnt so much this year and would really like to build on my skills and knowledge to continue the work I have achieved this year. I believe my strong passion for the Students' Union and my achievements so far will allow me to build upon my successes to bring more opportunities to students.

I have learnt so much about the Students’ Union, the University and how they communicate with you.
