Jack Amos  - #1 VP Democracy & Services

I’m Jack Amos, your current Raise and Give Officer at Hertfordshire Students’ Union, where I manage the charity initiative, RaG. This is also my fourth year studying Geography at Herts. I’ve been actively involved with the Students’ Union since my first year, and have previously held the position of Student Trustee for two years, where I sat on the board and engaged in scrutiny and decision making. I believe the skills and knowledge I gained from this position will allow me to be a great Vice President Democracy and Services.

Why I’m standing

I have a passion for improving the services at Hertfordshire Students’ Union, and the experience they provide. For four years I’ve been involved in many aspects of the Students' Union, and know that to meet the needs of students’ it must continue to adapt. I am confident I can use my knowledge, skills and connections within the university to improve your student experience and representation at the University of Hertfordshire.
