I am a second year student studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I am a very active person, playing Basketball for our second team with a large variety of other sports. If I had any super power it would have to be flight because it would save dealing with the park and ride.

 

Why I’m standing 

I feel I can make a positive change and impact on the SU. I hope that I can continue the work that the Student Trustees already do and help lead the SU into 2016.

Scrutinise and hold to account senior management

I will ensure that in Trustee Meetings, I will continue to understand and take care with policy changes or business decisions made by the Senior Management team. Throughout my time on the Trustee Board, I will ensure that all decisions are in the best interest of the students of Hertfordshire.

Ensuring financial stability across the Union

Through consideration of the economic environment and continued scrutiny of the senior management’s actions, I will ensure that Hertfordshire Students’ Union remains financially stable and viable for the considerably future.

 

Keeping the Union’s finance transparent

I want to ensure that the students’ have a greater understanding of the Students’ Union’s finances. This will help students understand why budgets are allocated the way they are and importantly equip students to actually input into our strategic decisions.
